Bir: only road to government school has active landslide zone — children walk through debris

The 2-km road connecting Bir village to Govt. Primary School has an unstable slope that has produced debris flows in 2023 and 2024 monsoon. Children must cross the debris zone daily. An alternative path exists but is 6 km longer. HP PWD has classified the slope as "medium risk" but no stabilisation work has been done. Parents submitted a petition with 200 signatures in November 2025 with no response.
