Dharavi: upper floors of 5-storey chawls receive no water pressure for 8 months

Residents on floors 4 and 5 of chawls in Dharavi's sector 7 have not received adequate water pressure since August 2025. MCGM records show the main feeder pipe for this sector was last replaced in 2001. Ward office complaint numbers W/E-2025-4521 and W/E-2025-5103 were acknowledged but no action taken. Residents pay private tankers Rs 80/day supplementing MCGM supply.
