What does Save do?
Save is a private bookmark for returning to Problems, missions, articles, or other records without making a public signal.
Definition
Save is a private bookmarking action. It lets you keep track of a Problem, article, mission, Stakeholder, or other record so you can return to it later. Saving is intentionally quieter than Like, Verify, or Share. It does not mean you endorse the content, confirm it, or want it broadcast to others. It means the item matters enough for your own follow-up.
Why It Matters in SevaPremi
Different personas need memory. A citizen may save a Problem to check progress next week. A volunteer may save a future Mission Circle before joining. A journalist may collect examples for a story. A donor may compare several missions before pledging. Save gives people a low-pressure way to organise attention without adding public noise. It also helps SevaPremi understand sustained interest without treating every saved item as proof of urgency.
What Happens When You Interact
When you Save something, it should appear in your personal saved list or dashboard. Other users should not see that you saved it. The platform may use aggregate save counts as a weak trust and relevance signal, but it should be weighted below stronger actions such as Verify or expert Endorsements. You can usually unsave later. Saving can also shape recommendations by teaching the Matching Engine which topics, Localities, or entities you return to.
